- A PCR workstation is a closed cabinet fitted with HEPA filtered air flow system that provides a steady, unidirectional air flow with almost zero or minimal turbulence.
- The air flow velocity remains between 0.4 m/s to 0.6 m/s.
- Ergonomically designed to provide long service life.
- Inner body made of mild steel, outer stainless steel; complete 304/316 stainless steel sheets used.
- Mild, stainless-steel bench with wooden body.
- Box-style pleated pre filters with an efficiency of 95% down to 10 microns. They are made of HDPE + non-woven + HDPE mesh media and are housed in an aluminium casing.
- HEPA filters are of high- quality having efficiency 99.99 % down to 0.3 micron and fitted in aluminium anodized case.
- The blower assembly branded motor and has aluminium anodized impellers.
- The workbench is stainless steel (304).
- An electrical outlet and an air or gas cock are standard fixtures. We use fluorescent lamps for lighting.
- A manual sliding door (sash) made of clear acrylic plastic covers the front side of the work area.
- An optional UV lamp is used to sanitise the workspace before each use. It is advisable to avoid making any contact in the chamber at this time.
